I started my business back in 2018 after getting my MA in English Literature. And wow, was it a challenge to get my business off the ground.
While I had lots of experience in creative writing, nonfiction, and content, I had never done any kind of copywriting. I’d worked at a premier literary magazine, gotten my work published on bigger platforms, done stints at local weeklies, and even seen some of my creative writing published.
But I didn't expect to be a copywriter. In fact, as a sensitive literature and writing student, I was afraid of marketing. It felt extroverted and salesy, two things I did not identify with.
I wasn’t the budding entrepreneur scaling her lemonade stand at age 10. (My idea of entrepreneurship was inventing a product and going on Shark Tank, a totally foreign concept to me.)

I’ve had some amazing highlight-reel moments as a copywriter.
Experienced multi six figure success entirely from booking 1-1 services. From 2021 to 2022, I doubled my business revenue.
Charge premium prices for my services and regularly turn things down if they don’t look like a good fit for me. I’ve booked $7k, $9k, $10k, and, once, a $34k retainer project for copywriting and content writing services. While I often book things in lower price points, too, I know how to attract and sell to high-ticket clients while also making some of my offers accessible.
Niched down to working with creative women and folks whose businesses genuinely excite me. I say no to non-ideal clients without having to worry about whether I’ll make enough money that month because I have things in place to regularly attract people into my business.
Hired contractors in my business. I no longer try to do absolutely everything by myself, and I’m much better for it. Even if you’re not quite there yet, I CAN show you steps you can take to move closer to making that first hire.

Will you review any of my client work?
At this time, this mentorship does NOT include material review of any client work. I’m happy to advise you on client situations and give you my recommendations for addressing issues that may pop up, but I’ve chosen to keep these mentorships focused on growing your business. This is YOUR time to commit to your copywriting business and grow into that next level you know you’re capable of.
Is what I tell you confidential?
Absolutely! I will not share anything you tell me with anyone else. This is intended to be a safe space for you to talk about the wins and challenges of being a copywriter, get real feedback, and grow. As part of our coaching, I may also share personal stories and challenges from growing my own business. Because of this, the coaching agreement you’ll sign will have us both agree to confidentiality. With your consent, I may share wins or kind words you say about working with me but will NOT air anything private that you don’t wish others to know.
How long are you keeping this open?
Spots are open until I fill up bookings– it all depends on interest, as this is a new offering. I’m only booking TWO 6 month mentorships for the first half of the year and ONE mini mentorship per month in Q1 to ensure that I can give you proper time, attention, and advice. A big thing I believe in is being intentional to who and what you say yes to, so you can rest assured that if I’ve committed to being your mentor, you aren’t getting lost in the noise or just one of dozens.
